History:

Draco grew up as the soul heir to the prestigious Malfoy family. His parents didn't shy away from showing off their money or the fact that they could buy anything anyone could ever want so Draco often got his way. His mother spoiled him terribly and even though his father would at times disapprove of Narcissa's actions, he himself could be just as bad when it came to making Draco happy.

As a boy, Draco loved his parents more then anything and admired his father above everyone else. When he received his Hogwarts letter, he didn't want to go. He, like his father, wanted to attend Durmstrang but his mother wouldn't allow it. So Draco's goal became to make his father proud by doing better then him at Hogwarts. Once at Hogwarts Draco found a rival in Harry Potter which side tracked him from his goal slightly since it took some time out of studying to make Potter and his friends miserable. He also found some close friends of his own at Hogwarts such as Pansy, Crabbe and Goyle. He was fairly popular but as the war grew closer along with the imprisonment of his father he became more isolated and cold. The only one who could even get a word through to him was the other man he grew to look up to - Severus Snape. Soon not even he could reach Draco until the day Voldemort cornered the boy and gave him a life defining choice. Kill his school headmaster as well as the strongest wizard in the world or lose everyone he still held dear. This choice was made for him when Snape stepped in and with that, Draco lived the remainder of his life on the run.

Draco's loyalties to the darker side of magic didn't last much longer after this, though. Draco failed to follow orders, both ruining Snape's post as spy at Hogwarts and causing the death of his mother as punishment. Breaking away from Snape as well, he was once again on his own, avoiding both the light and dark sides of the war.

Eventually cornered by the Order during an attempt to leave the country, he was dragged to their hide out at Grimmauld Place, once again coming face to face with his long time rival, Harry Potter. For reasons still unknown, Potter seemed to do everything in his power to keep Draco out of prison and even have his wand returned to him.

With new found loyalties Draco eventually began to put some faith in Harry's words starting a somewhat bumpy companionship. Life as a former Death Eater isn't smiled upon, making both job hunting and even just walking the streets of London difficult. Hence, he quickly agreed to study abroad when the idea was suggested by Harry.

Personality:

Draco is still slightly paranoid which is a side effect from surviving the war. He can get jumpy when people talk to him for too long or he'll get annoyed since most people talk about stuff he's not interested in if this happens he has no problem getting up and walking away in the middle of the conversation. He rarely takes other peoples feeling into consideration when he acts unless he feels it'll disadvantage him in some way to ignore it. He has little patients and is easily annoyed as well as bossy and stubborn.

He loves intelligent conversation like those he used to have with his parents and Professor Snape when he was young and he loves reading. He's also possessive and doesn't like to share as most spoiled brats do.

Quirks/Appearance:

Draco is around shorter than average height and fairly skinny since he tends to be a very picky eater. His hair reaches his ears and is a very pale blond colour. His eyes are light grey/blue and his skin is nearly white since he doesn't like to go outside much in the day (he's more of a night owl.).
